About The Outpost
This site was designed by Niki Van, who has a professional web design company, van-studios.com. The lesson: Always be kind to your geek friends.
The previous design was done by Jonathan Dewbre, whom I also thank for the time he spent on this site. So, seriously, always be kind to your geek friends.
The images you see are pictures of trader’s markets, farmers’ markets and bazaars from around the world gleaned from various photographers, mostly through Wikimedia Commons. I only chose images that I was free to use, but since the copyright restrictions varied, I’ve decided to give the location the photograph was taken as well as, when possible, the best link to the image’s author I could find. You should note, however, that does not necessarily mean the page will be in English.
